Capabilities
There are plenty of computer shops in Cochabamba, but we are one of the very few that is truly bi-lingual with an emphasis on English language operating systems and programs. Our specialty is working on / with computers that are localized to USA and then found in service in Bolivia.
Installation / Updating operating systems and software
If you are upgrading or installing new software and run into issues, we can help. With a high speed line we can keep your computers up to date with the latest versions of downloadable software. In most cases we can bring the latest software to your home or office instead of bringing the machine to our shop.
Virus / Spyware Removal
The incidence of virus infections and spyware is higher here than more developed parts of the world, mainly due to the relatively high cost of good AV/AS software. A specialty of ours is cleaning infested systems.
Upgrading hardware & software
This industry continues to churn out newer, faster, more capable systems and peripherals at a regular pace. Rarely can a machine that is 3-4 years old run the latest software. Many times the main memory or hard drive is not big enough. We can help you decide if you need a new machine or if it is more economical to upgrade a few components, our usual suggestion.
Networking
In recent months we have added staff with expertise in networking. If you are planning an upgrade or have yet to set up a server for your enterprise, we are ready to help you.
