Product Representation
Bolivia and the general region represent "virgin territory" for a very broad array of products. Here we want to focus on electro-technical and/or industrial products. In living and working here, we have noticed that many of the "big name" well known suppliers of electro-technical products have some form of representation. However, we see hardly any of the medium to small suppliers with any sort of market or product presence. Our experience is that medium to small suppliers have excellent products that are cost competitive. They face a number of barriers: language, cultural differences, lack of local commercial contacts, uncertainty & lack of knowledge about regional politics, and legal / regulatory requirements.
We are here because we believe in the regional countries, especially Bolivia. There is a LOT of growth possibility for electro-technical and industrial products in Bolivia and the region as we climb the economic ladder. We want to help YOU expand into the region providing goods and services that are necessary. Here is where we are looking for specific opportunities to help you and the region at the same time.
Product areas that we are exploring for Representation and/or Importation
Components for assembly of desktop computers. This includes everything from cases, motherboards, graphics cards, power supplies, fixed and rotating memory and displays.
Laptop computers. There is a convergence of local expectation / demand, affordability and availability of lower cost laptops. We especially see very good possibilities for "brandless" laptops from Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs).
CAD and specialized technical software. Part of the process of growing the technology sector in Bolivia is the use of CAD and related technical software. We are actively engaged in the search for CAD in mechanical and electrical / electronic fields.
Lightning & overvoltage protection devices. The region is prone to havoc caused by lightning. Yet there is little protection deployed beyond key telecom installations and most (not all) high risk facilities. We see a vital need for a variety of SPD / TVSS devices covering the multiple layers of protection. Lives and property are at stake.
Grounding. Grounding and associated materials are the fundamental of protection of facilities. We are actively looking for companies that supply expertise and materials for high quality grounding.
Power Quality apparatus. There is a growing need for products that improve power quality in Bolivia and South America. We have been active in supplying equipment for voltage regulation, isolation, harmonic control, transient suppression and power continuity (UPS).
Electro-domestic products. As growth continues in Bolivia and the region, there has been a tremendous increase in demand for cost-effective appliances for the home ranging from the kitchen, to the garden, Do It Yourself (DIY) and of course the entertainment center.
