Capabilities in Translation
In order to successfully enter into Bolivian commerce, you will need expertise in Spanish. As an assembly of bi-lingual persons, we run the gamut from Spanish to English as our mother tongues. Our backgrounds and experience are equally broad. Our specialty is written translation taking in either electronic documents or providing scanning / OCR as preliminary document conversion. However, if you are traveling to South America, we can provide side-by-side translation. 
 Completely Bi-lingual
We are an assembly of persons. Each of us speaks Spanish, English and some of us a third or fourth language. Between us, we deliver perfect English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation. We do not depend on machine translation (although we of course have to have CAT tools), we do it the old fashioned way: sentence by sentence each in its own context.

University level translation
We are all university trained. Included in our staff are persons with a collective three graduate degrees: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Theology. Several of us have multiple degrees in the USA and in Bolivia. Between us there are two cum laudes in: Mathematics and English Literature. Most of our training and experience is in technology, science, the humanities and commerce.

Side-by-side translation
If business or pleasure brings you to Bolivia, we can help you with personal translation service as needed. We are based in Cochabamba, but if your travel brings you to other centers such as La Paz, Sucre or Santa Cruz, we can arrange to assist you. 

Technology Based
Not only do we translate, but we do so from a backgrounds mostly in technology. Not all of our staff is bi-lingual, but all of our staff has post-secondary training. The university level training that forms our background includes electrical engineering (four persons); arts and humanities (three persons); theology; graphic arts / photography;  mathematics & computer science (two persons);  and business administration.

 Travel Assistance
We are not a travel agency, but we realize that occasionally folks get stranded or need help.  We are experienced in travel in Bolivia, Peru, southern Brazil (State of São Paulo and south), and the principle cities in Chile, Argentina and Ecuador.  If commercial travel brings you here, we can help.
 
Primary Translation Associate

Technical Translation Staff
Our permanent staff includes four persons who are bi-lingual: two whose mother tongue is English and the other two Spanish. Our daily work is in both languages, thus the importance of translation for our enterprise.
    For larger projects, we call on bi-lingual help available here in Cochabamba. Several are engineering and / or computer professionals. As needed we also can call on legal and medical professionals.

CAT Tools
Our translation capability is anchored in bi-lingual persons, not CAT tools. That said, we know that CAT is a way to improve productivity and present translations with a coherent / uniform vocabulary via the use of TMs. We work with the Fluency tool which can link to the popular CAT product TMs. Via our primary translation associate we can handle Trados files. Additionally we find clients with needs in Wordfast of which we have a copy.
